Our classes run from ages 3-18, and styles include Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, Contemporary and Tumbling. We keep registration open all season so you can join when it works for your schedule.
We also have a competitive team for ages 10-18! Auditions for our Competitive team are Sunday, May 5th. Please reach out if you are interested in joining our Competition Team!
After two decades without a brick and mortar dance studio in operation…
the fall of 2017 saw Miss Emma’s Dance Company open its doors to the youth of New Hampton, IA. Born of Emma Schwickerath’s lifelong love for dance, and passion to mentor the next generation of her hometown residents, we proudly serve you today.
At EDC, our mission is simple: we want to help dancers uncover the beat that moves them and ignite a love for dance that lasts a lifetime. We're not just teaching dance steps; we're building confidence and leadership skills in every dancer. Our goal is to make dance an amazing and positive experience for everyone here in NE Iowa.
We are excited to be offering dance classes in 2 amazing locations, Mason City and New Hampton, IA.
Meet Miss Emma!
Emma has dedicated the last 10 years of her life to making New Hampton’s dance program well known across the state of Iowa. She takes great pride in knowing her dancers are getting a quality education while making friends and having fun!
